The Coworking Africa 2015 conference is an initiative of Global Enterprise and Cape Town Office. Global Enterprise is the producer of the Coworking Europe conference, already organized five times since 2010. The last edition of Coworking Europe took place in Lisbon, Portugal, and gathered 320 people from more than 40 different countries.
The first Coworking Europe conferences were : Coworking Europe 2010 (Brussels, with The Hub Brussels), Coworking Europe 2011 (Berlin, with Club Office and Betahaus) and of Coworking Europe 2012 (Paris, with La Fonderie and ARD).
Coworking Europe works closely with GCUC, organizer of the US Coworking conference GCUC, which has now branches in Australia and Canada.
Coworking Europe 2014 took place on November 24th, 25th and 26th in Lisbon, Portugal.
Global Enterprise, Cowork Lisboa and the Lisbon Municipality have partnered up to create to most insightful event in Europe regarding the rise of Coworking and its impact on entrepreneurship, innovation and, overall, the future of the workplace.
More than 320 attendees from all around Europe, North America and beyond, gathered during three days in Cinema Sao Jorge, in Lisbon. The Portuguese capital aims to be called the San Francisco of Europe.
Close to fifty speakers and panelists shared their thoughts and best practices with an audience made out of Coworking space operators, facility managers, real estate pundits as well as city councils representatives, public development agencies, universities or startup incubator managers.
Coworking Europe 2013, the fourth Coworking Europe Conference, was organized on November 11, 12 and 13 by Global Enterprise and the Xarxa Punt TIC of the Government of Catalonia, with the support of the coworking magazine Deskmag.
The Coworking Europe 2012 conference took place at La Bellevilloise, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
The Coworking Europe 2011 was held in Club Office and betahaus in Berlin.
